Jeremy led two seminars on Subculture ministries at the annual Messiah College Youth Workers Conference. His seminars were some of the highest attended at this years conference. Jeremy along with Hannah and J.D. had a blast and hope to be back next year.
St Patrick – The Man and Why He Is Remebered

St Patrick’s Day has become an Americanized holiday of drinking, partying and just having fun. The truth is that is not really why this Feast Day of the Catholic Church was begun. Below is a link to a lengthy but very good article on who St Patrick was and why he is remembered every March 17th.

Things are going well at Holdfast lately. Ever since moving to McGraths Pub in Harrisburg we have seen our numbers grow. The change is small but significant seeing as we have not lost anyone in the transition. We have been having new folks weekly including quite a few bar regulars. It has been a great opportunity to not only minister to people but also befriend the staff at the bar.
We have recently welcomed J.D. Fine to our staff as an intern. He is a student at Messiah College and will be with us for the next year or so. He is a great asset to us because of his connection to Messiah and his ability to make friends quickly.
Jeremy will be speaking at this years Messiah College Youth Workers Conference in Grantham PA. He will be doing a seminar on subculture ministry. You can find more info about the conference at http://www.messiah.edu/youth_workers/
